Why have we given so much information?

For many buying off the web is still new, for others they have self imposed rules over what they buy the limits on value etc we are all different. What ever your criteria as a browser looking to invest in anything and especially furniture you deserve to be treated with respect. In order to assess the value of your purchase you need information which we provide in a number of ways.

Also whilst we explain we supply direct from the factory some will miss that point and it is important to get across every aspect relating to how the final product is made. We have advantages over our peers and we want to make sure our customers know this, after all cynicism when browsing the web especially is almost human nature the first likely thought is 'it costs a lot less than another I have seen, there must be something wrong with it or just not as good quality'.

This is another main reason for explaining our business model and giving as much product information as we can.

Photographs are an excellent starting point, too many times we see images from wholesalers and manufacturers. Often the resolution and original quality of them is poor not close enough etc, usually claims they belong to the website are false just make a mental note and see how many times you see the same image.

Our furniture has been professionally photographed in our showroom taken from our warehouse,we have taken close up pictures so you can see what your considering buying in detail.

Care has been taken to use colour balanced light to accurately capture the finish. Please note that a laptop screen can vary the look by the angle you are looking at it just as a browser interprets colours differently and your screen settings may not be accurate especially out of the box.

For every item we give detailed information on how we finish our furniture not just rhetoric descriptions and giving you part of the information that sounds good i.e. '7 step hand applied ageing process for that truly authentic look' when perhaps it should also include the fact the furniture is spray painted with the hand distressing done afterwards which is a cheaper lower quality quicker method.

We also provide the opportunity to see a physical sample of the timber and finish which provides almost all that you could need to determine quality and value and truly bridging that gap between being in a shop and the web.

Please keep in mind we have an 8000 sq ft showroom open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm you are positively encouraged to come and look at our furniture in the flesh. If you can only make a time outside of these hours just call us and we can open up for you, we live locally and as long as we are near we can help showing off our furniture is never a chore.

In summary we provide detailed information from timber to finished piece of furniture with full disclosure.
